Check Out Our New Website!

If you registered through our website, you may have noticed we got an update! We have combined our past three websites - accessola.com, the Forest of Reading Festival website, and the password website - into one!

It has everything Forest-related all in one place to make it easier for registrants, authors, illustrators, and publishers to find information.

Visit our brand new website for all things Forest of Reading at forestofreading.com.
Forest of Reading Password Website - Coming November 15!

The Forest team has been working hard to get the password website up and running and will open next week, with hundreds of nominee and book resources.

This will be an updated website that will require a login process. We will send an email, providing detailed information on how to log in once it goes live.

We will continue to add more resources over the next few weeks, and you may notice updated and changes as you use the website.

In the meantime, please take a look at all of the resources you can be using to get your program up and running available to share from our website.

Note: The Forest of Reading programs are intended to run from December until end of April.
Order from Tinlids!
Purchase Your Booksets from Tinlids, the Official Wholesaler for the Forest!

The Forest of Reading would not exist without the support of our official wholesaler, Tinlids Inc.

By supporting Tinlids, you are helping Canadian publishers, authors and illustrators continue to create books.

Book orders already placed will start shipping this week. The delay has been due to the global shortage of paper and publishers are delayed in getting their books to us. Thank you for your patience with Tinlids and the Forest of Reading.

For information on your book shipment, please contact Tinlids directly at orders@tinlids.ca.

Five Little Indians Voted as the 2021 Forest of Reading® Evergreen AwardWinner!

After months of reading the best in Canadian fiction and non-fiction for adults, readers from over 85 Ontario libraries have chosen Michelle Good’s Five Little Indians (HarperCollins Publishers Ltd) as this year’s Evergreen Award winner.

“Michelle Good's novel, Five Little Indians, illustrates how fiction can help us cultivate empathy, arrive at understanding, and seek truth. This story helps us understand the deep and real harms committed by the Canadian residential school system, and the ongoing impacts of those harms on Indigenous people today,” says Erin Kernohan-Berning, chair, Evergreen Award Committee. “That Five Little Indians has been voted this year's Evergreen Award winner by readers demonstrates that Indigenous stories are important, and I hope that readers continue to learn from and elevate these stories. I am pleased to welcome Michelle Good to the list of Evergreen Award-winning authors.”

Thank you to everyone who voted! And congratulations to Michelle Good!
